On April 11, 2025, I had the honor of participating at the Ph.D. Graduation Ceremony of the University of Bordeaux and receiving my degree as a Doctor of Law : a chic ceremony for a memorable day and a dream come true.

This ceremony culminated 7 years of assiduous work of scientific research, reflection and legal writing, sleepless nights and dozens of drafts of the manuscript, but also unforgettable moments.

University research : "a profession of passion", a professional experience offered at the highest level at the University of Bordeaux.

I am proud to have been a doctoral researcher in law at an institution that fully recognises the merits and scientific contribution of its professional researchers.

On April 16th, 2017, the L'Obiter Journal of the Faculty of Law at the University of Sherbrooke published an interview with me. One of the goals of this interview was to motivate future lawyers from the Faculty to explore criminal and penal law, and perhaps even to pursue more than one career in the legal field.
